The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Aleksandr Martynov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Contin tries to clinch there but Vsevolizski circles away.
Contin is trying hard to land a takedown here. Vsevolizski sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Vsevolizski instigates a clinch.
Vsevolizski prevents a takedown attempt there.
Vsevolizski tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Contin's elbow.
Contin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Contin gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Vsevolizski holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vlad Contin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Vsevolizski has picked Contin up - he's going for a ride! Vsevolizski dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Vsevolizski decides to return to a standing position.
Vsevolod Vsevolizski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vsevolizski bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Vsevolizski tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Contin takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Vsevolizski wants to control but Contin is keeping him busy.
Vsevolizski has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Vsevolizski works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Vsevolizski is working to tighten is grip on Contin's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Contin has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Vsevolizski is really squeezing tight and eventually Contin passes out! Vsevolizski breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
