The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lamont throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting Bartone counter with a right hand.

It looks like Blaise Lamont has been cut.
Bartone fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lamont avoids it really well and circles away.
Bartone takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Lamont scores with a sloppy right hand. Bartone should have avoided that one.
Lamont throws an off balance right hand
and Bartone counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Lamont lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Lamont connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Lamont throws a lazy uppercut
and Bartone counters with a stiff right hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lamont swings for the body but Bartone moves out of range.
Lamont is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bartone.

and Bartone counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Bartone rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Lamont counters with a one-two to the body.
Lamont fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Bartone on the side of the head.
A nice inside leg kick there by Bartone. That's going to slow Lamont down.
Lamont misses with a hook to the body
and Bartone counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Lamont thinking.
Lamont is breathing heavily.
Bartone cracks Lamont with an open hand slap.
Bartone takes a swing at Lamont's ribcage but misses.
Bartone cracks Lamont with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Lamont falls to his knees and Bartone doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
