Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Matt Major (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alessandro Carrano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alessandro Carrano struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Alessandro Carrano will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carrano tries to clinch up
and Major cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Major shoots in and bounces Carrano off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
