Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Victor Anichebe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Satoshi Ishii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anichebe comes to the cage accompanied by Give me hope. Ishii comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Global Deejays - "California Dreamin'" kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Satoshi Ishii has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Victor Anichebe's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Victor Anichebe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Satoshi Ishii! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anichebe misses with a hook. Anichebe lands a lovely overhand right.
It looks like Satoshi Ishii has been cut. Anichebe throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Ishii throws a right and a left that Anichebe avoids nicely. Ishii ducks under a wild hook from Anichebe. Anichebe misses with a right hand and Ishii counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Anichebe looks to land a left hand but Ishii moved out of range nicely. Ishii closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Anichebe to the mat! Anichebe manages to get full guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Anichebe escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ishii gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Anichebe has his foot on Ishii's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ishii works his way back into a safe position though. Anichebe is pulling down on Ishii's head to control his posture. Anichebe looking for a guillotine here but Ishii defends easily.
Ishii makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ishii throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Anichebe throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Ishii pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Anichebe is keeping the position for now. Ishii must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Anichebe looking to control.
Anichebe is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Ishii is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Ishii chips away with some ground and pound. Anichebe trying to keep a closed guard but Ishii is proving a slippery customer.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Victor Anichebe. Ishii shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Anichebe but Anichebe pushes him off and we're back to square one. Anichebe throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

and Ishii counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Ishii throwing shots but Anichebe is blocking nicely. Ishii takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Ishii throwing shots but Anichebe is blocking nicely. Ishii is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Anichebe is just riding it out for now. Ishii eventually gives up the hold. Ishii looks gassed! Ishii is working for a kimura but Anichebe is defending it quite comfortably.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ishii missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Anichebe manages to escape and get back to his feet! Anichebe misses with an uppercut. Anichebe waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Ishii. Ishii on the wrong end of a nice hook. Anichebe throws a big shot that misses. Anichebe misses with a low kick. Anichebe swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Ishii counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Ishii. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ishii drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ishii jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ishii postures up.
Ishii throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Anichebe works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Anichebe has his foot on Ishii's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ishii works his way back into a safe position though. Anichebe is trying to keep Ishii in close.
Anichebe has momentary wrist control but Ishii slips an elbow through the middle. Anichebe has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Ishii should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Anichebe has tightened it up now! Ishii should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
