The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick lands there from Arcisais.
Arcisais swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Acevedo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Arcisais throws a head kick that misses
and Acevedo counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Arcisais throws a combination that misses
and Acevedo counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Arcisais throws a lazy head kick
and Acevedo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Acevedo takes the fight into the clinch.
Acevedo gets control of Arcisais's arms and successfully pulls guard. Acevedo will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Arcisais has gone for a leg lock! Acevedo slips out almost immediately though and dives into Arcisais's guard.
Acevedo trying to control the position from guard on top but Arcisais is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Acevedo is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Arcisais has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Acevedo doesn't defend quickly enough and Arcisais has managed to lock this one up! Can Acevedo escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Arcisais on a fantastic submission victory.
