Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Jarvis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Machinator (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jarvis's entrance music is Notorious B.I.G Ft Ratatat - Party and Bullshit. A fine choice. Machinator has chosen Avenged Sevenfold - Nightmare as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Daniel Jarvis has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Daniel Jarvis seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Daniel Jarvis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Robert Machinator! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Skip Squint and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Machinator throws a lazy head kick and Jarvis counters with a lovely straight right hand! Jarvis clinches up with Machinator and pushes him back against the cage. Jarvis misses with an elbow over the top. Jarvis lands an elbow just above Machinator 's eye.
It looks like Robert Machinator has been cut. Jarvis really is a fat lump. Machinator tries for a takedown but Jarvis manages to get underhooks.

It looks like Daniel Jarvis has been cut. Robert Machinator seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jarvis displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Machinator. Jarvis waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Machinator. Machinator shoots and misses and Jarvis counters by clinching up. Daniel Jarvis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robert Machinator. Machinator is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Machinator has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Machinator throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Jarvis displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Machinator. Machinator tries for a takedown but Jarvis circles away easily and Jarvis counters with a nice uppercut. Machinator looks gassed! Jarvis throws a lazy right hand but Machinator sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Machinator throws a leg kick and Jarvis counters by clinching up. Machinator pushes off an throws an elbow but Jarvis leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. A short right from Machinator. Machinator pulls guard. Jarvis looking to pass the guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jarvis passes easily into side control. Nice work. Jarvis is looking to take a break and control but Machinator is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Machinator can't do much from the bottom here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jarvis decides to stand back up. Jarvis steps back and let's Machinator get back to his feet. Jarvis is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Jarvis stuffs the takedown. Jarvis tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Machinator counters with a big head kick but Jarvis shrugs it off. Machinator tries to clinch and Machinator takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Machinator throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Machinator throws a series of punches but Jarvis avoids them all with ease. Jarvis avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jarvis tries to close the distance and clinch but Machinator swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Robert Machinator will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Machinator manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Jarvis is looking to clinch.
