Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Pralija (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Ashika (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Pralija might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Pride FC theme song. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Eliza Hachem and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ashika tries to clinch but Pralija moves away
and Pralija counters with a straight right hand.
Pralija moves into the clinch successfully.
Pralija breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ashika throws an overhand right that lands on Pralija's shoulder, as Pralija tries to avoid the shot.
Ashika closes the distance but Pralija moves to the side
and Pralija counters with a single leg into guard. Ashika didn't expect that.

Ashika wants to get back to his feet but Pralija passes into half guard.

Pralija has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Ashika's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Pralija fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Pralija is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Ashika has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Ashika!

We're going to have a standup here because Ivan Pralija wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Ashika darts in trying to clinch
and Pralija counters with a stiff right hand.
