Lecter VIII has chosen Getting Away With Murder as his entrance music. Hannibal Lecter VIII is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steckels circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lecter VIII fails with an attempt to clinch.
Lecter VIII lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Lecter VIII tries a head kick but it misses.
Lecter VIII falls off balance throwing a combination
letting Steckels counter with a right hand.

and Steckels counters with a straight right hand.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Lecter VIII, right into the meat.
No joy there for Steckels, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Lecter VIII shoots in and bounces Steckels off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Hannibal Lecter VIII wasn't active enough on the ground.

A looping hook to the body misses from Lecter VIII. Steckels does a little dance to reset his feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Lecter VIII is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Steckels with him. Steckels is trying to defend but Lecter VIII has an arm under the chin now! Steckels grimaces and is forced to tap out!
