Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hudson Oliveira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Thunder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oliveira has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Big Thunder will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hudson Oliveira! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Big Thunder! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Alexandre Firmino and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thunder throws a head kick that Oliveira semi-blocks.
It looks like Hudson Oliveira has been cut. Thunder throws a nice inside leg kick. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Thunder wants to clinch up but Oliveira keeps it at a distance. Thunder closes the distance but Oliveira moves to the side and Thunder takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Thunder tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Oliveira counters with a lovely straight right hand! Thunder defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Oliveira. Oliveira is breathing heavily. Oliveira on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Thunder. Thunder obviously looking to wear him down.
Thunder tries to close the distance and clinch up but Oliveira swats him away and circles back towards the center. Thunder throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Oliveira's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Thunder dives in looking to finish as Oliveira flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Thunder's strikes! Thunder is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Oliveira's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Oliveira was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
