Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hemmo Hujoppi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Shamrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hujoppi's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Cockney Rejects - Fighting In The Streets. Shamrock has chosen The Notorious B.I.G.'s Going Back to Cali as his entrance music. Hemmo Hujoppi has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Daniel Bishop and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shamrock misses with a hook
and Hujoppi counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Hujoppi avoids the body shot from Shamrock.

Hujoppi really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Shamrock is on top in guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Shamrock has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Hujoppi!
Shamrock throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Hujoppi because Shamrock loaded up on that one.

Shamrock swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Hujoppi is now in Shamrock's guard. A big mistake from Shamrock there, giving up the dominant position!
Shamrock has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Hujoppi lands with a kick to the temple. Shamrock shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Shamrock is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Hujoppi's half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Hemmo Hujoppi will probably get the nod.

Hujoppi feints a jab promting Shamrock to slip. Hujoppi then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Shamrock slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Shamrock might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Hujoppi is pawing at Shamrock, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Shamrock's nose. Shamrock is badly hurt! Hujoppi pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Shamrock tries desperately to hold on but Hujoppi is relentless in his assault! As Shamrock receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Hujoppi away and this one is in the books!
