Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ben Funky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stevens has chosen Enter Sandman as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Funky moves to clinch but Stevens breaks away
and Stevens counters with a stiff right hand.
Funky closes the distance and clinches up with Stevens, looking for a takedown. Funky pushes Stevens against the cage but Stevens circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Stevens looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Funky is fending him off so far but Stevens persists. Nope, Funky circles away and we're back to standing.
Funky fails with the takedown.
Stevens moves in looking to clinch but Funky pushes him off.
Funky changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Stevens looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Stevens tries to escape but Funky is in control.
Funky connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Stevens some visible discomfort.
Stevens is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Funky has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Funky moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Stevens wants to get back to his feet but Funky drags him back down.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Stevens taking a bit of punishment here - Funky scoring with strikes.
Funky takes a little break here. Stevens wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Stevens on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Stevens tries to escape but Funky is in control.
Funky scores with punches from side control.
Funky is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Stevens looks calm but he's in trouble here. Funky gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Stevens is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Funky lets go of the hold and Stevens can pop his arm back in it's socket.
