Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Klas Aberton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buck Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wilson has chosen 2NE1: FIRE as his entrance music. Buck Wilson has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Klas Aberton's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Klas Aberton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Buck Wilson!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Franklyn Lucas and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aberton scores with a jab to the head.
Wilson throws a leg kick that is checked
and Aberton cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Wilson darts in trying to clinch

and Aberton counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Aberton wants to free his trapped foot but Wilson is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Aberton missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wilson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Aberton is working away from the top position though.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Buck Wilson was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Aberton bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Wilson's head backwards.
Aberton scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Aberton cracks Wilson with a good jab.
Aberton circles away from the clinch attempt

so Aberton counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Aberton stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wilson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Aberton accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Aberton pushes down on Wilson's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Wilson avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Aberton.
Wilson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Aberton seems to be looking for submissions.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Aberton tries to pass to full mount but Wilson defends it.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Aberton is working for a kimura but Wilson is defending it quite comfortably.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Aberton is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Wilson still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Wilson has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wilson is looking to take a break and control but Aberton is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Klas Aberton dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Wilson takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
A low kick from Wilson misses
and Aberton counters with a stiff right hand.
Wilson wants to slow Aberton down by chopping away at his legs.
Wilson connects with a leg kick. Aberton looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Wilson walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Aberton jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Aberton scores with a shot to the body.
Wilson misses with a body punch
and Aberton counters with a nice uppercut.
Aberton fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Aberton looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Wilson!
Wilson is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Aberton landing punches.
Aberton raining down hammerfists from mount.
Aberton throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Aberton thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Aberton cracks Wilson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wilson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Wilson is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Aberton unloads with some shots from mount but Wilson bucks and avoids them well.
BOOM! Aberton connects with a massive shot to the dome!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Aberton thowing shots but they're missing.
Aberton throwing strikes here but Wilson is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Aberton fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Aberton connects with a couple of good shots from mount.


Wilson is rocked!
Wilson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Aberton. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Wilson is bucking up trying to escape but Aberton cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Wilson is still in real trouble! Can Aberton finish him?

Aberton has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Wilson is forced to tap!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Klas Aberton!
