The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vita shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Li cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Li pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Vita back to the cage. Li follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Li connects with a combination that backs up Vita into the cage. Li lands a flurry of punches that gets past Vita's guard. Vita is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Li bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hong Li!
