Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gattsu Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cy Nasqu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Emelianenko comes to the cage accompanied by The Eagle Lands. Cy Nasqu acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cy Nasqu!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nasqu misses the jab.
Emelianenko feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Emelianenko got a little sloppy there for a moment and Nasqu has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Emelianenko has managed to get both his arms back between Nasqu's legs - danger averted.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nasqu wants to sweep but no luck.
Emelianenko distracts Nasqu with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Emelianenko stays in close to Nasqu's body and controls the position.
Emelianenko postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Emelianenko won't allow Nasqu to sweep him here.

Emelianenko wants to control the pace but Nasqu is squirming around nicely.
Nasqu tries to hold on but Emelianenko postures up.

Emelianenko has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Nasqu is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Nasqu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Emelianenko. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

It looks like Cy Nasqu has been cut.

That has opened up Cy Nasqu's cut even more.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Cy Nasqu's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
