0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Eyenee Iournut! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rene Vesque! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Iournut rushes Vesque and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Iournut tries for a takedown but Vesque manages to get underhooks.
Iournut with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Vesque changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Iournut fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Vesque misses with a left hand and Iournut counters with an outside leg kick.
Vesque slips a jab from Iournut. Vesque misses the jab. Iournut tries to clinch up but Vesque circles away and keeps his distance. Iournut is looking to clinch.

and Iournut counters with a flying knee. Nice. Eyenee Iournut seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Vesque throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Iournut misses with a takedown attempt and Vesque connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Eyenee Iournut has been cut. Iournut looks to clinch and Vesque counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Iournut wants to get back to his feet.
