Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roidger Palmeiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hanz Brickz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Palmeiro's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Bully. Brickz has chosen Death in Fire as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roidger Palmeiro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hanz Brickz! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Palmeiro connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Brickz will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Palmeiro looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Brickz! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Palmeiro wants to control the pace but Brickz is squirming around nicely. Brickz is trying to escape the mount.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Palmeiro is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Brickz is surviving well by controlling Palmeiro's body position as best he can. Brickz is working to get back to half guard.
Palmeiro wants to finish this one by submission but Brickz is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Palmeiro. Palmeiro looking to secure an arm triangle but Brickz defends it well. Palmeiro is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Palmeiro avoids the attempt from Brickz to control. Brickz reaches up and holds on to Palmeiro to control the position. Brickz is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Palmeiro wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it. Brickz keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Brickz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Palmeiro. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Brickz bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Palmeiro has his foot on Brickz's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Brickz works his way back into a safe position though. Palmeiro has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Brickz can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Brickz controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Palmeiro bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Brickz's guard. Brickz is looking to stand up but Palmeiro isn't so interested in that idea. Palmeiro stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brickz swivels though and keeps the full guard. Palmeiro is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Brickz is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Brickz has escaped and now he's on top! Palmeiro looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Palmeiro might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Palmeiro wants to sweep but no luck. Brickz would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Palmeiro is looking for a triangle here but Brickz uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Brickz stands up. Palmeiro shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Brickz as he avoids it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brickz misses with the combination.
Brickz jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Brickz jabs Palmeiro right on the nose. Palmeiro blinks but takes it well. Brickz will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Palmeiro lands a nice shot to the body.
Brickz rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Palmeiro moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Palmeiro shoots in and drives through. Brickz sprawls well. Brickz throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Palmeiro feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Palmeiro wants to pass the guard but Brickz is keeping the position. Palmeiro stands and throws Brickz's legs to the side, diving into side control. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Brickz can do anything to dispel that myth. Palmeiro has knee on belly and moves into mount. Brickz is looking to get to half guard. Palmeiro working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Palmeiro unloading with bombs! Palmeiro wants to finish this one by submission but Brickz is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Palmeiro. Palmeiro is trying to take his opponent's back.
Brickz tries to lock up and control but Palmeiro gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Palmeiro is working for a guillotine from mount but Brickz frees his head quite easily.
Palmeiro looking to land elbow strikes but Brickz uses the position to regain half guard. Palmeiro is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Brickz wants to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Roidger Palmeiro dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Brickz throws a right hand that Palmeiro ducks under and follows up with a left that Palmeiro also avoids with ease. Brickz lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Palmeiro stuns Brickz with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Brickz thows a left - swing and a miss! No joy there for Palmeiro, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Brickz throws a nice looking combination but Palmeiro bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Palmeiro fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Palmeiro fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Palmeiro looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roidger Palmeiro. That's going to take a lot out of him. Palmeiro looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Brickz is fending him off so far but Palmeiro persists. Nope, Brickz circles away and we're back to standing. Brickz misses with a double jab
and Palmeiro counters with a nice double leg into guard. Brickz wants to sweep but no luck. Palmeiro drops back, looking for a kneebar! Brickz looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Brickz looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Brickz! Palmeiro is trying to improve his position. Palmeiro is trying to control Brickz's posture but Brickz avoids it. Brickz is breathing heavily. Palmeiro parries the strikes from Brickz easily there. Brickz is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Palmeiro to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Palmeiro regains half guard. Brickz prevents Palmeiro from improving his position. Brickz wants to lay and pray for a moment but Palmeiro keeps working. Palmeiro moves into full guard.
Palmeiro looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Palmeiro has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Brickz can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Palmeiro is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Palmeiro had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Brickz is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Palmeiro Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Brickz's back instead. Palmeiro looking for the choke but no joy. Brickz looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Palmeiro looking for the RNC. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brickz is trying to stand back up. Palmeiro working for the choke. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Palmeiro patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Palmeiro working for a choke but Brickz is defending well. Palmeiro has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Brickz. Brickz trying to control the hands but Palmeiro breaks the grip. Palmeiro looking for the choke but no joy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Palmeiro has got one arm under Brickz's chin. This could be trouble... Brickz trying to control the other hand but Palmeiro gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Brickz has tapped out! The fight is over!
