Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nic Newcomer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Herkules Smasher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Newcomer comes to the cage accompanied by High by Lil Wayne. Herkules Smasher struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 206.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. The key to victory for Nic Newcomer has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Newcomer gets a clinch.

Newcomer throws a nice looking combination but Smasher bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Newcomer throws a right hand that Smasher ducks under and follows up with a left that Smasher also avoids with ease.

and Smasher counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

A close round but Herkules Smasher will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Smasher tries to free his leg and advance position but Newcomer is retaining full guard.
Smasher postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Newcomer is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Smasher, into his guard.
Smasher working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Newcomer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Newcomer manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
