Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Grand Speed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damion Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Speed comes into the arena with Mad Sin / Rusty Nails blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Grand Speed!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Damion Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Lou da Vinci and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by Diaz - just one landing.
It looks like Grand Speed has been cut.
Diaz swinging wildly here.
Diaz dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Diaz throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Speed misses with an uppercut. Diaz saw that one coming.
Speed's jab looks to have found its range, popping Diaz under the eye.
A punch combination from Diaz misses.
Speed's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Diaz connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Speed scrambles back to his feet.
Speed connects with the punch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Diaz defending well as Speed loads up on a big left hand.
Diaz stuns Speed with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Speed misses with a looping left.
Diaz throws a right hand that Speed ducks under and follows up with a left that Speed also avoids with ease.
Diaz will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Diaz avoids a punch combination nicely.
Diaz throws a left and a right that both miss
enabling Speed to counter with a crisp jab.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Diaz swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Speed waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Diaz.
Speed connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Diaz throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Speed cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Diaz uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Speed.
A big right from Speed misses.
Diaz takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Speed throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Diaz tries to bum rush Speed with a series of wild strikes but Speed uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Diaz throws a right hand that Speed ducks under and follows up with a left that Speed also avoids with ease.
Diaz misses with a lunging right hand
and Speed cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Diaz is rocked!
Diaz looks gassed!
Diaz needs to keep his hands up - Speed had a free shot at his head there.
Diaz is still on wobbly legs! Can Speed finish him?
Diaz switches off momentarily and Speed cracks him with a monster right hand! Diaz topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Speed dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Speed!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Grand Speed!
