Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane Ellis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenpachi Kurosaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ellis kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is his Ram Muay performance. The crowd seem to be enjoying Kurosaki's choice of entrance music: Born to Win. Kenpachi Kurosaki will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight stays on the outside here - Kurosaki looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kurosaki drops his hands momentarily and Ellis takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Ellis throws a push kick but Kurosaki slaps the foot to one side.

Ellis scores with a head kick. Kurosaki tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Kurosaki rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ellis moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kurosaki lands a jab to Ellis's midsection.
Ellis throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kurosaki on the side of the head.
Ellis misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Shane Ellis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kurosaki moves in looking to clinch but Ellis pushes him off.

This has been an exciting period of action!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

and Kurosaki counters with a three punch combo that has Ellis backing up. Ellis nods at Kurosaki to acknowledge the strikes.

Ellis drops Kurosaki with a beautiful combination! Kurosaki stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Ellis is looking for the KO!
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Ellis moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Kurosaki! Ellis continues to tee off on Kurosaki, landing with a left and a right! Ellis connects with a right hand that leaves Kurosaki sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Ellis!
