Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Dent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruno Maia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dent comes to the cage accompanied by Samuel Peter - WHO NECKS?!. Arthur Dent had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.6lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Felipe Paraventi and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dent throws an off balance right hand
and Maia counters with a nice uppercut.
Dent lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Dent.
It looks like Bruno Maia has been cut.
Maia with a lazy takedown attempt
and Dent counters with a series of strikes. Maia will be more careful next time no doubt.
Dent is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Maia tries for a takedown but Dent circles away easily
and Dent counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Maia moves out of range as Dent strikes.
Dent connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Maia momentarily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dent misses with a looping left.
Dent moves to clinch but Maia breaks away
so Maia counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Dent not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Maia drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Maia seems to have locked his on tight now - Dent screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Maia, as he picks up the win!
