Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Reynolds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Van Dam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reynolds comes into the arena with Night Diving blaring out of the sound system. Matt Reynolds has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Matt Reynolds!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Valeri Chadov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dam throws a left and a right that both miss
and Reynolds counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Dam shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Reynolds manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Reynolds is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dam defends well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dam got a little sloppy there for a moment and Reynolds has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dam has managed to get both his arms back between Reynolds's legs - danger averted.

Reynolds is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Reynolds takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
