Smash comes to the cage accompanied by Karazy- Swamp Music. Dustin Smash has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dustin Smash! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dominic Rude! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Smash looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Smash staying out of range there. Smash takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
It looks like Dustin Smash has been cut. A momentary lapse in concentration from Rude enables Smash to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Rude manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Smash tries to free his leg and advance position but Rude is retaining full guard. Rude working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Smash. Rude is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Smash is controlling him. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Smash is fighting to break Rude's control of his arms but Rude is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Rude's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Smash trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Smash trying to control the position from guard on top but Rude is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rude managing to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Dominic Rude. Rude tries a head kick but it misses.
Smash tries for a takedown but Rude sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Smash uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rude. Rude misses with a looping left. Smash blocks a head kick by Rude.
A head kick lands from Rude that sends Smash to the canvas. Smash tries to scramble back to his feet but Rude brings him back down into side control.
Smash is rocked! Smash is trying to escape the position but Rude is controlling the position. Oh Smash is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Rude decides to stand back up. Look low, kick high! Rude uses the oldest trick in the book to send Smash tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Rude is absolutely delighted - when Smash wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Dominic Rude!
