Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Demarcus Ware (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Edgar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ware might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Put on. Demarcus Ware has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Demarcus Ware! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Edgar! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ware has his takedown stuffed and Edgar counters with a straight right hand. Ware tried to score with a low kick but Edgar checks it. Ware misses with a double jab
letting Edgar counter with a right hand.
It looks like Demarcus Ware has been cut. Edgar shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Edgar was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Edgar has hold of Ware's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Ware manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Edgar dominating with strikes here. Edgar tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Edgar trying to control but Ware is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ware takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Ware tries to lock up and control but Edgar gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Ware is squirming around, avoiding Edgar's attempts to control the action. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Edgar connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Edgar fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Ware is desperately trying to improve his position but Edgar has a good base and remains in mount. Edgar is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Ware has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Ware! Edgar has his feet on Ware's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ware moves out of range of the body kick. Ware swings widly with a right hand
and Edgar counters with a takedown into side control. This has been an exciting period of action! Edgar prevents Ware from escaping the position. Ware is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Edgar off and has taken his back! Edgar is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Edgar preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Ware. Edgar has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ware looking to break Edgar's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Edgar remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Ware will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Edgar trying to get back to his feet but Ware is in full control for now.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Edgar is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Ware gets his way!
Ware looking to break Edgar's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Edgar remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Ware will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Edgar trying to get back to his feet but Ware is in full control for now. Edgar is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Ware tightening his grip on Edgar, looking for the choke.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Edgar controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Edgar looks gassed! Edgar defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Ware's arms. Edgar manages to escape to his feet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Edgar shoots in for a takedown but Ware shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Edgar avoids the head kick by Ware.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Edgar dominated that round. The cut man is working on Demarcus Ware's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Ware doesn't manage to clinch there - Edgar circles away.
Ware wants to land a leg kick but Edgar is out of range. Ware swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Edgar counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Ware! Ware wants to control but Edgar is having none of it. Ware is desperately trying to improve his position but Edgar has a good base and remains in mount. Ware taking shots to the head. Ware really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Edgar controlling from the full mount. Ware tries to reverse the position but Edgar maintains control. Frank Edgar has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Edgar putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Ware keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Edgar lands a big elbow. Ware is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Edgar has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Ware's face.
Ware is squirming around, avoiding Edgar's attempts to control the action. Edgar unloading with bombs! Edgar tries to control but Ware wriggling away. Edgar controlling the position easily from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Edgar goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Ware turns into him and now he's in Edgar's guard.
Ware wants to pass the guard but Edgar is keeping the position. Edgar is looking to stand up but Ware isn't so interested in that idea. Edgar pushes Ware off and scrambles back to his feet.
Ware closes this distance looking for a takedown but Edgar circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ware misses with a takedown and Edgar counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Edgar throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Ware is looking to control Edgar's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Ware avoid being mounted? Ware looking for submissions off his back. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Edgar in particular looking to stall. Edgar prevents Ware from improving his position. Edgar is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Ware sees it coming and defends easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Edgar wants to free his trapped foot but Ware is holding on for dear life with his legs. Edgar is figuring out what he wants to do next. Edgar is looking to pass Ware's guard but actually Ware recovers to full guard. Edgar is breathing heavily. Edgar avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ware wants to sweep but no luck. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Edgar showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Demarcus Ware's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

and Edgar counters with a single leg into guard. Ware didn't expect that. Edgar trying to control the position from guard on top but Ware is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ware is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Ware looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Edgar content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Edgar not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Edgar works a leg free and moves into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Edgar landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Edgar looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Edgar is thwarting Ware's attempts to control the position. Edgar is trying to control the action in half guard but Ware is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Ware trying to control but Edgar postures up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Ware is trying to escape the mount.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ware regains half guard. Edgar is just content to waste time from the top position. Ware takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Ware is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Edgar defends well. Edgar content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Edgar trying to control the position from guard on top but Ware is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ware looking for a sweep. Not yet Ware, not yet. Frank Edgar is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Edgar trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Edgar wants to control from the top but Ware keeps moving. Ware working a defensive guard here.
Demarcus Ware has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Edgar looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
And that's the end of the fight! Frank Edgar comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Edgar has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
