The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ernesto wants to clinch but Gonzales slips to the side
and Gonzales counters with a stiff right hand.
Ernesto feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Gonzales looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ernesto is one step ahead there.
Gonzales is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Gonzales is pressing down on Ernesto's thigh, looking to free his foot. Ernesto is holding on for now.
Ernesto is trying to stand up here but Gonzales is controlling him well.
Gonzales wants to pass the guard but Ernesto is defending well.
Gonzales works his way into full mount!

Gonzales wants to finish this one by submission but Ernesto is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Gonzales.
Ernesto tries to control Gonzales's body but Gonzales pushes him off. Ernesto squirms to his side and now Gonzales has his back!
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ernesto is trying to defend against the choke here but Gonzales has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Gonzales Tightens the hold and Ernesto taps out furiously! Gonzales displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
