The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Spunkmeyer has closed the distance and engaged Nirresson in a clinch.
Spunkmeyer looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Spunkmeyer unloads a knee to the mid-section. Nirresson lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Nirresson tries for a takedown but Spunkmeyer manages to get underhooks.
Spunkmeyer comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Nirresson wants a takedown.
Spunkmeyer misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Nirresson.

Nirresson lands a takedown into guard.

Spunkmeyer looking to hit a scissor sweep but Nirresson is one step ahead there.
Nirresson tries to free his leg and advance position but Spunkmeyer is retaining full guard.
Nirresson content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Nirresson postures up and lands a big shot to Spunkmeyer's brow.
Nirresson scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Spunkmeyer is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Nirresson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Nirresson working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Spunkmeyer's head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nirresson postures up.
Spunkmeyer lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Nirresson!
Spunkmeyer prevents Nirresson from getting the reversal.
