Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Winner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Dave Winner has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dave Winner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brian Roberts! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Dean Styles and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Winner misses with a jab, cross combination.
Roberts closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Winner is looking to regain half guard here but Roberts keeps moving and retains side control. Roberts takes a little break here. Winner wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Let's hope that Roberts has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Winner regains half guard. Winner wants to get back to full guard. Roberts is controlling the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Brian Roberts. Winner shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Roberts counters with a takedown into side control. Roberts moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Roberts has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Roberts throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Winner was covering up waiting for the punch and Roberts finishes the takedown easily into guard. Winner can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Roberts controls the pace. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Roberts accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Roberts passes Winner's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Winner is breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Roberts looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Roberts seems to be looking for submissions.
Roberts escapes and gets back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Winner doesn't succeed with the takedown and Roberts counters by clinching up. Stalling in the clinch from Roberts.
Roberts is trying to trip Winner. He has hold of a leg but Winner is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Roberts persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Roberts wants to pass the guard but Winner is keeping the position. Roberts gets to his feet. Winner looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Winner could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Roberts closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Roberts wants the takedown. Winner is fighting it off but Roberts persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Winner's guard against the cage. Winner wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Roberts is now in half guard. Roberts throwing shots but Winner is blocking nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Roberts performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Roberts is working for a submission of some sort.
Roberts looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Roberts has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Roberts clinches. Winner looking to slow down the pace here. Roberts controlling the action here for a moment.
Roberts pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Winner tries to clinch and Roberts counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Roberts stands up from half guard. Roberts throws a head kick that misses. Roberts bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Roberts decides to stand up, so the ref orders Winner to his feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Winner tries for a takedown but Roberts circles away easily and Roberts counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Winner wants to sweep but no luck. Roberts is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Roberts in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Winner looking for a sweep. Not yet Winner, not yet. Winner is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Roberts is aware though and is defending well. Roberts avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Winner is trying to get back to full guard. Roberts looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Roberts scoring with strikes to the body and head. Roberts prevents Winner from standing back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Roberts is pressing down on Winner's thigh, looking to free his foot. Winner is holding on for now. Roberts controlling the pace. Brian Roberts has got the better of the ground game so far. Roberts has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Roberts sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Roberts landing shots from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brian Roberts showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Brian Roberts's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Roberts slips nicely into half guard. Roberts wants to work for an arm triangle but Winner is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Winner wants to get back to full guard but Roberts has mounted him! Winner wants to control but Roberts is having none of it. Roberts working for a guillotine from mount but Winner is in no mood to give up. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Roberts manages to capitalize on a mistake by Winner to take his back! Winner rolls, trying to escape but Roberts keeps control of the position.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Roberts controlling the positon. Roberts punches the canvas rather than the man.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Roberts patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? What can Winner do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Roberts is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Roberts's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Roberts throwing sloppy strikes. Winner is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Roberts gets his way!

Roberts controlling the positon. Dave Winner has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Brian Roberts is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Winner holding both Roberts 's hands and preventing any damage.
And that's the end of the fight! Brian Roberts comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Roberts has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
