Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bas Rutten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mannie Mann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mannie Mann will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paul Aken and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rutten.
Rutten throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Mann's head.
Mann scores with a leg kick.
Rutten tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mann swivels and escapes.
Mann gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Rutten counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Rutten.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rutten controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Rutten seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Mann for as long as he can get away with.

Rutten dives in and grabs Mann's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mann pushes down on Rutten's head and hops out.

Rutten has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Mann finds it's way round the side to connect with Rutten's head.
Mann throws a series of punches but Rutten moves out of range.

The fight stays on the outside here - Mann looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Mann darts in and clinches Rutten up against the cage.
Mann prevents a takedown attempt there.
Mann is trying to break free.
Mann just leaning against Rutten, taking a breather.

Mann has had enough of the clinch but Rutten keeps him there for the moment.
Mann escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

It looks like Bas Rutten has been cut.
Rutten stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Mann.

Rutten chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Mann can pounce on him.

Rutten takes a kick to the side of the head.
Both fighters circling a little - Mann finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Rutten walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Mann buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Mann lands a slapping body shot.
Mann fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Mannie Mann is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Mann lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Mann throws a quick inside leg kick.
Rutten shoots in looking for a takedown but Mann manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rutten's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Rutten shoots in and gets a takedown into Mann's guard.
Rutten slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Rutten has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Bas Rutten.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Mann will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Rutten tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Mann manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Rutten has managed to clinch.

Rutten gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Mann regains guard.

Rutten wants to pass the guard but Mann is defending well.

Mann throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Rutten keeps control of Mann as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Rutten drops down looking for an ankle pick but Mann pulls his leg out and moves away.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Bas Rutten seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mann fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Rutten has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Rutten looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mann is fending him off so far but Rutten persists. Nope, Mann circles away and we're back to standing.
Rutten sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Rutten doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Mann tries to clinch but Rutten is having none of it.
Rutten closes the distance and clinches up with Mann, looking for a takedown. Rutten pushes Mann against the cage but Mann circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

I would just about give that final round to Mannie Mann.
