Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ronaldo Muyeira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gancho Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Muyeira comes to the cage accompanied by Death or Jail. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ronaldo Muyeira! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gancho Santos! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Muyeira has his takedown stuffed and Santos connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Muyeira looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Santos drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Santos is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Gancho Santos has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Santos connects with a body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Santos has Muyeira up against the cage in a clinch.
Muyeira prevents the takedown attempt.
Santos tries for a takedown but Muyeira manages to get underhooks.
Santos prevents a takedown attempt there.
Santos stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Santos escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Santos shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Santos sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Gancho Santos has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Muyeira takes a body punch but keeps moving. Muyeira gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Santos to score an easy takedown into full guard. Muyeira being controlled here, momentarily. Santos distracts Muyeira with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Santos wants to stand but Muyeira has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Santos pushing down on Muyeira's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Santos works his way into side control. Santos stands up. Muyeira gets tackled into the cage by Santos. Santos maintains the clinch. Muyeira managing to block the knees to the body from Santos.
Santos pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Santos closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Muyeira quickly recovers to half guard. Santos controlling the action here. Santos stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Muyeira to get to his feet. Santos clinches up against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Santos breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Santos drives through with a takedown into guard. Santos must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Santos is pushing down on Muyeira's leg trying to pass to half guard. Muyeira is fighting to maintain full guard but Santos has managed to sneak the leg through. Santos sitting and controlling from the half guard. Santos is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Santos tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. It looks like Santos might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The referee warns Muyeira that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gancho Santos dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Santos stuns Muyeira with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Santos shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Santos is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Santos is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Santos looking to pass the guard. Santos looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Muyeira is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Santos scoring with punches to the head and body. Santos passes easily into side control. Nice work. Santos stands up and beckons Muyeira to his feet. Santos shoots in and gets a takedown into Muyeira's guard. Santos sitting in guard, not really doing much. Santos advances position into side control! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Santos decides to stand back up. Santos steps back and let's Muyeira get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Muyeira tries to keep at a distance but Santos has taken the fight into the clinch. Santos breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Santos shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Muyeira's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Santos stands up from Muyeira's guard - Santos perhaps looking for a knockout. Santos has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Santos rushes Muyeira and presses him up against the cage. Santos breaks the clinch.
Santos closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Santos lands in his opponent's guard. Santos sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Muyeira's guard. Santos controlling the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice strikes from Santos there. Well, if Santos is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Gancho Santos has got the better of the ground game so far. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Gancho Santos was stalling too much, according to the referee. Santos changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Muyeira looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Santos working the head and body with strikes. Santos decides to stand back up. Santos steps back and let's Muyeira get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Santos drives through with a takedown into guard. Santos is pushing down on Muyeira's leg trying to pass to half guard. Muyeira is fighting to maintain full guard but Santos has managed to sneak the leg through. Santos perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Santos is nestled in close to Muyeira, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Muyeira looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Santos controlling the pace. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Muyeira is in trouble now - Santos has advanced to mount! This has been an exciting period of action! Santos with the ground and pound from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gancho Santos showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Santos feints and as Muyeira raises his hands in defense, Santos changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Santos slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Santos decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Muyeira, up you get! Muyeira with a lazy takedown attempt and Santos counters by moving into the clinch. Santos manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Santos controlling Muyeira's posture. Santos had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Muyeira defends it easily. Muyeira has gone for a leg lock! Santos slips out almost immediately though and dives into Muyeira's guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Santos's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Santos is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Santos controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Santos trying to control but Muyeira is working from the bottom. Muyeira looking for a guillotine here but Santos defends easily.
Santos is stalling in the full guard. Muyeira looking for subs off his back but Santos has passed one foot through into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Santos decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Santos shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Muyeira napping and manages to drive through into side control! Santos stands up and we're back to a striking position. Santos gets the takedown into side control. Santos moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Muyeira is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Santos is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Santos sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Muyeira taking shots to the head. Santos controlling the position easily from mount. Santos with shots to the head and body - Muyeira looks very uncomfortable down there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Santos lands a big elbow. Santos landing strikes, looking to finish! Santos tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Santos stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Gancho Santos comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Santos has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
