Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Martelli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafael Sassaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sassaki has chosen forever as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sassaki shoots for a double leg takedown but Martelli sprawls well. He's pushed Sassaki's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Sassaki closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Sassaki lands in his opponent's guard.

Martelli is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
You can see the frustration on Martelli's face as Sassaki controls the position.

Rafael Sassaki showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
