Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rashad Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Alexandre Firmino and Thiago Cunha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ormanski gets a clinch.
Ormanski prevents the takedown attempt.
Jackson fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Ormanski is pressed up against the cage. Jackson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Ormanski down to the mat. Ormanski avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Tadeusz Ormanski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rashad Jackson.
Nice sprawl there from Ormanski as Jackson shoots in.
Tadeusz Ormanski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ormanski forces Jackson back against the cage and clinches.
Jackson prevents Ormanski from breaking the clinch.
Ormanski has had enough of the clinch but Jackson keeps him there for the moment.
Jackson tries for a takedown. No joy.
Jackson keeps control of Ormanski as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Jackson gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Ormanski is trying to stand.

Jackson is working for a kimura but Ormanski is defending it quite comfortably.
Jackson not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Jackson seems to be looking for submissions.

Jackson stands up and beckons Ormanski to join him on the feet.

Ormanski gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Come on Jackson - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Ormanski is trying to push Jackson away but Jackson has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Ormanski successfully pulls guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jackson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Jackson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Jackson has gone for a leg lock! Ormanski slips out almost immediately though and dives into Jackson's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jackson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ormanski gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Jackson is looking to sinch up a triangle. Ormanski throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Jackson's body to avoid the submission. Jackson has instead reached around Ormanski's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Jackson arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Rashad Jackson!
