Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Alistar DeGraff!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gabriel Scyler!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Roosa Järviläinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donk. Scyler catches DeGraff right on the button with a cross.
Scyler swings away with a body shot that misses
and DeGraff counters with a lovely straight right hand!
DeGraff ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Scyler paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
It looks like Alistar DeGraff has been cut.
Scyler stuffs the takedown attempt from DeGraff. DeGraff gets slowly back to his feet.
DeGraff tries to score a power double leg takedown but Scyler sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten DeGraff somewhat.
DeGraff on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
DeGraff lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
DeGraff ducks under a wild hook from Scyler.
Scyler stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Scyler wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alistar DeGraff. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Scyler throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Scyler comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
DeGraff ducks under a wild hook from Scyler.
DeGraff will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
DeGraff gets cracked there but stands up to it.
No luck for DeGraff with that takedown attempt.
DeGraff is breathing heavily.
Scyler fails to land with a series of punches.
Scyler sends DeGraff crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Scyler is motioning to the referee to let DeGraff up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
DeGraff is rocked!
Scyler connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks DeGraff out cold! This one is over in a flash!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Gabriel Scyler!
