Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yoshi Gnomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Duke Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yoshi Gnomi could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Duke Knight's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Yoshi Gnomi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Duke Knight! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Radbod Blank and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fighters circle momentarily. Gnomi darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Gnomi tries to clinch but fails miserably and Knight counters with a straight right hand. Knight misses with a few strikes there.
Gnomi looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Gnomi looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Gnomi is looking for a kimura here.
Gnomi has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Gnomi won't let Knight get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Gnomi is working for a guillotine from mount but Knight frees his head quite easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gnomi goes for an armbar but Knight turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Knight. Knight is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Knight trying to control the position from guard on top but Gnomi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gnomi has a closed guard, preventing Knight from standing up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Gnomi is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Gnomi bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Knight's guard. Gnomi tries to free his leg and advance position but Knight is retaining full guard. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Gnomi postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Knight is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gnomi, into his guard. Knight trying to control the position from guard on top but Gnomi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gnomi keeping full guard, as Knight tries to pass. Knight has gone for a leg lock! Gnomi slips out almost immediately though and dives into Knight's guard. Gnomi drops back, looking for a kneebar! Knight looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Knight looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Knight! Gnomi can't do much from the bottom here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Gnomi is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Knight working away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yoshi Gnomi dominated that round. That's time! Gnomi's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Gnomi with a poor takedown and Knight counters with a one-two to the body. Gnomi misses with a takedown attempt and Knight counters with a shoot takedown. Gnomi fights it but they end up in guard. Gnomi has his hands on Knight's head, controlling the position. Knight trying to control but Gnomi is working from the bottom. Knight must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Gnomi wants to sweep here but Knight controlling him for the moment. Knight pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gnomi is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Knight won't allow Gnomi to sweep him here.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Gnomi with a poor takedown letting Knight counter with a right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yoshi Gnomi. That's going to take a lot out of him. Knight misses with a leg kick and Gnomi counters with a head kick. Gnomi moves into the clinch. Knight goes for a takedown in the clinch but Gnomi prevents it.
Gnomi is trying to drag Knight to the mat but Knight just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Knight pulls guard. Gnomi has gone for a leg lock! Knight slips out almost immediately though and dives into Gnomi's guard. Knight stands up from Gnomi's guard - Knight perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Knight leaves Gnomi with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Knight throws a low kick but it's checked well by Gnomi. A looping hook to the body misses from Knight. Gnomi does a little dance to reset his feet. Knight misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Gnomi tries to clinch but fails miserably and Knight counters with a left to the body. Gnomi looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Knight is fending him off so far but Gnomi persists. Nope, Knight circles away and we're back to standing. Knight drives through with a takedown into guard. Knight stopping the sweep attempt from Gnomi. Knight pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gnomi is keeping the position for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gnomi looking for a guillotine here but Knight defends easily.
Knight drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Gnomi dives on top into guard. Gnomi has gone for a leg lock! Knight slips out almost immediately though and dives into Gnomi's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Knight working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Knight trying to control but Gnomi is working from the bottom. Gnomi has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Knight is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Gnomi. Gnomi being controlled for a moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Duke Knight showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Gnomi tries to close the distance and clinch but Knight swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Gnomi tries to clinch but Knight moves away and Knight counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Knight scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Knight scores with a body shot.
Nice body punch from Knight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gnomi is trying hard to land a takedown here. Knight sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Gnomi fails with the takedown. Yoshi Gnomi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Gnomi misses with a takedown and Knight counters with a stiff right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yoshi Gnomi. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gnomi throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Knight counters with a left to the body. Knight shoots and misses and Gnomi makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Knight will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Knight throws a series of punches but Gnomi avoids them all with ease. A leg kick checked by Gnomi. Gnomi wants to clinch and Knight counters with a slapping leg kick. Knight misses with a two punch combination.
Left hook, right uppercut from Knight. A low kick from Knight is predictable there and Gnomi counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Knight is lucky that one didn't land flush. Gnomi throws a left and a right that both miss
and Knight counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Knight. Knight slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Gnomi manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Knight manages to get himself to full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Knight decides to stand up, so the ref orders Gnomi to his feet. Knight is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Gnomi rather than just go for the knockout. Gnomi gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Gnomi wants to clinch but Knight slips to the side and Knight decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Gnomi's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Knight is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Gnomi is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Gnomi has escaped and now he's on top! Gnomi postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Knight is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gnomi, into his guard. Knight wants to control from the top but Gnomi keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Knight slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Knight won't allow Gnomi to get back to his feet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that's the end of the fight! Duke Knight comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Knight has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
