Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Garen Crownguard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dmitriy Poreshin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Garen Crownguard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dmitriy Poreshin!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Seu Braga and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crownguard fails to land with a series of punches.
Poreshin shoots in but no luck this time.
Poreshin tries to clinch up
letting Crownguard counter with a right hand.
Crownguard circles away from the clinch attempt
and Crownguard counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Poreshin thinking.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

and Crownguard counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Crownguard lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Poreshin circles away quickly and effectively.

Crownguard stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Crownguard wants it to stay on the feet.

Poreshin fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Crownguard avoids it really well and circles away.
Crownguard lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Poreshin circles away quickly and effectively.
Poreshin tries to score a power double leg takedown but Crownguard sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Poreshin somewhat.
Crownguard looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

and Poreshin counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Poreshin.

That was a close round but I would say that Garen Crownguard will probably get the nod.

Crownguard on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Crownguard tries to get out of the position.

Crownguard is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

BOOM! Poreshin connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Poreshin is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Crownguard is surviving well by controlling Poreshin's body position as best he can.

Poreshin tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Poreshin might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Crownguard kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dmitriy Poreshin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Poreshin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Crownguard is fending him off so far but Poreshin persists. Nope, Crownguard circles away and we're back to standing.

Poreshin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Crownguard as he jumps to the side.

Poreshin shoots in looking for a takedown but Crownguard manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Poreshin's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Poreshin takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Crownguard bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Poreshin's head.
