6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Krystian Kaczala! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kaczala has his takedown stuffed and Taylor counters with a crisp right hand that drops Kaczala! Taylor lets Kaczala back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
It looks like Krystian Kaczala has been cut. Taylor gets in close and instigates a clinch. Kaczala working hard to break the clinch. Taylor gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Kaczala trying to keep a closed guard but Taylor is proving a slippery customer.
Taylor has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Taylor trying to control but Kaczala is working from the bottom. Kaczala manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Taylor manages to get himself to full guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kaczala drops back looking for a leg! Taylor is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Taylor manages to kick Kaczala off! Kaczala jumps back into Taylor's guard. Taylor pulls Kaczala in close to prevent any damage. Kaczala trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Taylor is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kaczala is aware though and is defending well. Kaczala gets to his feet - Taylor follows without any prompting. Kaczala throws a low kick but Taylor moves out of range easily. Kaczala misses with a takedown attempt and Taylor counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Kaczala! Taylor lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Kaczala is looking to improve his position but Taylor isn't that keen on the idea. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Taylor working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Kaczala slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Kaczala is trying to control but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Taylor is trying to control. Kaczala wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Taylor is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kaczala sees it coming and defends easily. Taylor is breathing heavily. Kaczala looks like he's trying to stand up.
Taylor is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Taylor missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Taylor knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kaczala on the ground. Kaczala slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Kaczala has his hands on Taylor's head, controlling the position. Taylor is looking to work some ground and pound but Kaczala has wrist control.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Krystian Kaczala was stalling too much, according to the referee. Kaczala gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Taylor to score an easy takedown into full guard. Taylor with a flurry of punches that miss. Taylor shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kaczala is trying to defend but Taylor finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Ground and pound from Taylor. Kaczala regains full guard. Nicely done. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Taylor accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Kaczala trying to control the position.
Taylor looking to sit in guard and control but Kaczala gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Kaczala is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Taylor trying to control the position here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kaczala trying to stand up but can't free himself from Taylor's guard. Taylor wants to sweep but no luck. Taylor keeping moving, preventing Kaczala from controlling successfully. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Krystian Kaczala hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Kaczala shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Taylor sprawls well. Taylor wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kaczala gets slowly back to his feet. Kaczala misses with a double jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Taylor moves into the clinch. Taylor has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Kaczala regains guard immediately. Kaczala looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Taylor puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Kaczala is trying to control but can't.
Kaczala might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Taylor kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Kaczala gets back to full guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Taylor stands up over Kaczala, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Taylor throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Taylor content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Kaczala has his foot on Taylor's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Taylor works his way back into a safe position though. Taylor scoring with punches to the head and body. Taylor knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Taylor tries to kick Kaczala off in order to stand up. Kaczala Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Kaczala shoots in for a takedown but Taylor shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Kaczala fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Taylor has closed the distance and engaged Kaczala in a clinch.

Kaczala looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Chester Taylor overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Taylor is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Taylor wants to sweep here but Kaczala controlling him for the moment. Kaczala passes into half guard. Taylor is staying active underneath Kaczala, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Taylor has his hands clasped together around Kaczala's back. He's all about the action. Kaczala content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Kaczala wants to clinch but Taylor slips to the side and Taylor counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Kaczala fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Chester Taylor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Krystian Kaczala. Taylor pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Horrible takedown by Taylor or perhaps it was just good defense by Kaczala which made him look bad. Taylor just misses with a punch to the body.
Kaczala closes this distance looking for a takedown but Taylor circles away. Kaczala throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Taylor tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kaczala is in Taylor's guard. Taylor is trying to control the position but Kaczala postures up. Kaczala gets to his feet - Taylor follows without any prompting.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kaczala tries to score a power double leg takedown but Taylor sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kaczala somewhat. Kaczala misses with an uppercut
and Taylor moves into the clinch. Kaczala has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Taylor is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Kaczala tries to pull guard but Taylor won't allow it.
Taylor pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Sloppy strikes from Taylor. Those never looked like landing. Kaczala attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Taylor darts in trying to clinch and Kaczala counters with a nice double leg into side control. Taylor won't be happy with that. Kaczala is looking to take a break and control but Taylor is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kaczala tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Taylor is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Taylor is looking to improve his position.
Taylor on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Taylor tries to get out of the position. Kaczala controlling the action here. Taylor tries to roll over but Kaczala keeps him under control.
And that's the end of the fight! Krystian Kaczala comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Taylor has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
