Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Calzaghez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and RYAN JOHNSON (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). JOHNSON has chosen BARBIE GIRL as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, RYAN JOHNSON!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Calzaghez gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Calzaghez fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Calzaghez tries to pull guard but JOHNSON won't allow it.
JOHNSON throws an elbow but it misses.
JOHNSON manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Calzaghez trying to control the position from guard on top but JOHNSON is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Calzaghez makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
JOHNSON scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Calzaghez misses with a takedown attempt - JOHNSON sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Calzaghez. That's going to take a lot out of him.
JOHNSON throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Calzaghez avoids the head kick by JOHNSON.
Calzaghez closes the distance and clinches up with JOHNSON, looking for a takedown. Calzaghez pushes JOHNSON against the cage but JOHNSON circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Calzaghez shoots in but no luck this time.
Jab, jab by Calzaghez - just one landing.
JOHNSON is rocked!
That has opened up RYAN JOHNSON's cut even more.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Calzaghez pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
JOHNSON is still on wobbly legs! Can Calzaghez finish him?
Calzaghez with a strong takedown there and he's ended up in side control.
Calzaghez decides to stand back up.

JOHNSON swinging wilding here.
No luck for Calzaghez with that takedown attempt.
Calzaghez is breathing heavily.
JOHNSON slips a jab from Calzaghez.
Calzaghez shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says JOHNSON as he avoids it easily.
JOHNSON seems to have recovered his senses.
JOHNSON showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Calzaghez.
Calzaghez blocks a head kick by JOHNSON.
JOHNSON throws a head kick but Calzaghez moves out of range.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by JOHNSON!

No joy there for JOHNSON, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Calzaghez shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Calzaghez is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. JOHNSON doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Calzaghez.
JOHNSON on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round.

RYAN JOHNSON's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at RYAN JOHNSON's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
