Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Starim Stal Overdreem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Weran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Overdreem comes into the arena with Motorhead-Iron Fist blaring out of the sound system. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weran misses with a jab, cross combination.
Overdreem connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
It looks like James Weran has been cut.
Starim Stal Overdreem seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Overdreem turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Overdreem fails with an attempt to clinch.
Weran avoids the head kick by Overdreem.
Overdreem fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Weran.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Weran closes this distance looking for a takedown but Overdreem circles away.
Weran looks gassed!
Overdreem throws a head kick that misses.
Overdreem lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Weran at a distance.
Good leg kick by Overdreem there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Overdreem wants to clinch.
Overdreem feints a jab and as Weran dips his head, Overdreem unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Weran right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Weran falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Overdreem smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Starim Stal Overdreem!
