The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chippy tries for a takedown but Dragonov circles away easily

and Dragonov counters by moving into the clinch.

Marco Dragonov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hello Chippy.

Dragonov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

and Chippy counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Chippy is still in real trouble! Can Dragonov finish him?

Dragonov is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Chippy pulls his head out easily.
Chippy seems to have recovered his senses.

Chippy is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dragonov doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Chippy.

Chippy tries to pass the half guard into mount. Dragonov knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Chippy seems to be working for a kimura but Dragonov defends the submission attempt.

Dragonov has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Chippy is working away from the top position though.
Dragonov gets back to full guard.

Dragonov is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
