The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
da Silva rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Villa moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
da Silva throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Villa connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
da Silva misses with an uppercut
and Villa counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
A head kick from Villa lands but da Silva takes it in his stride.
da Silva swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Villa counters with a head kick. That will keep da Silva thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

and Villa counters with a good low kick that da Silva was not able to check.

Villa really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

A punch lands to the side of da Silva 's head but he takes it in his stride.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

and Villa counters with a flying knee that drops da Silva! Villa dives in and finishes the fight with a flurry of strikes from the mount!
