Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Stalls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tom Stalls! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones fails with the takedown and Stalls cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Jon Jones has been cut. Stalls misses with a wild body shot. Jones shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Stalls defends it nicely. Jones tries for a takedown but Stalls sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jon Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jones doesn't succeed with the takedown and Stalls counters with a nice double leg into guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Stalls is in close to Jones's body, working some short punches and elbows. Jones working a defensive guard here.
Stalls really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Jones throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Jones is breathing heavily. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Stalls's corner. There ya go! There ya go! A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stalls accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Stalls wanted to stand there but Jones had control of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Stalls must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Stalls lands a couple of decent looking shots. Jones is looking to sinch up a triangle. Stalls throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Jones's body to avoid the submission. Jones has instead reached around Stalls's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Jones arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Jon Jones!
