Alpha kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Sub Focus - Rock It. Project Alpha has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alpha misses with a wild body shot.
Alpha tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Halo throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Alpha sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Alpha throws an off balance right hand
and Halo counters with a nice low kick that buckles Alpha's knee momentarily.
Alpha on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Halo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Halo goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Alpha lands a jab.
Halo avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A big left from Alpha misses.
Good leg kick by Halo there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Alpha throws a sloppy body shot
and Halo counters with an inside leg kick.
Project Alpha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Halo will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Alpha tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Halo was well out of range. Poor timing from Alpha.
Alpha misses with a left hand
and Halo counters with a body kick.
Alpha is breathing heavily.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Halo.

Halo moves into range and clinches up with Alpha.
Halo lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Alpha.
Halo gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Alpha.

Halo digs a right hand into Alpha's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Alpha's gas tank.

Halo lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Alpha or not.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Halo presses Alpha against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Halo lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Halo throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Alphas head.

It looks like Project Alpha has been cut.
Halo works on Alpha's body with a couple of short punches.
Halo working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Halo is pushing Alpha up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Halo.
Halo gets underhooks to prevent Alpha's takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Project Alpha. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A nice left hand lands by Halo.

Halo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Halo cracks Alpha with a good jab.
Halo looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Halo wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Halo feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Alpha sprawling to the canvas! Alpha rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Halo finish him?!

Alpha is rocked!
Halo throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Alpha crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
