Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Scruff McGruff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Svensson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGruff's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Dream On. Svensson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Flickorna pε TV2. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Joseph Jones and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGruff drives through with a takedown into guard.
Svensson keeping moving, preventing McGruff from controlling successfully.
McGruff tries to free his leg and advance position but Svensson is retaining full guard.
McGruff is pushing down on Svensson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Svensson is fighting to maintain full guard but McGruff has managed to sneak the leg through.
Svensson won't allow McGruff to pass to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round.
McGruff stops Svensson from getting back to his feet.
Svensson is not content to let McGruff control the position.
McGruff is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Svensson defends it well.
McGruff is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
McGruff is trying to work for a kimura but Svensson is defending well.
McGruff is pressing down on Svensson's thigh, looking to free his foot. Svensson is holding on for now.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Svensson can do anything to dispel that myth.

Svensson makes his way to full guard, as McGruff worked for a kimura.
Svensson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Svensson is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
McGruff pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Svensson is keeping the position for now.
McGruff content to stall in guard here.
Svensson is looking to stand up but McGruff isn't so interested in that idea.
And thats the end of the round the fighters go back to their corners.
Scruff McGruff dominated that round.

McGruff fails with the takedown
and Svensson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
McGruff shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Svensson counters with a stiff right hand.
Svensson displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
It looks like Scruff McGruff has been cut.
Svensson's jab looks to have found its range, popping McGruff under the eye.
McGruff shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
McGruff gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Svensson counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Scruff McGruff. That's going to take a lot out of him.
McGruff misses with a takedown
and Svensson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

McGruff on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Svensson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McGruff takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Svensson has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Nice body punch from Svensson.
McGruff fails with the takedown
and Svensson counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps McGruff thinking.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

McGruff has his takedown stuffed
and McGruff takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Svensson sizes up McGruff with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
McGruff with a lazy takedown attempt
and Svensson counters with a nice uppercut.
Svensson wants to slow McGruff down by chopping away at his legs.
Scruff McGruff seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Svensson scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Scruff McGruff is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Svensson lands with a nice body punch.
Svensson ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
McGruff takes one to the chin there.
McGruff's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Svensson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! McGruff scrambles back to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
McGruff takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Svensson connects with a good right hand that stumbles McGruff. McGruff circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Svensson cracks McGruff with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! McGruff falls to his knees and Svensson doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
