The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanayama changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ermirio de Moraes looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Hanayama can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Ermirio de Moraes is looking to escape.
Hanayama is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Ermirio de Moraes is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
