Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tito Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akihito Tatsuhiko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Coleman comes to the cage accompanied by Eminem - Mosh. Tatsuhiko has chosen Save Yourself as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Tito Coleman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Akihito Tatsuhiko!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Andrew Berry and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Coleman fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Tatsuhiko to the ground. Coleman is now in Tatsuhiko's guard.
Coleman controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Coleman tries to free his leg and advance position but Tatsuhiko is retaining full guard.

Tatsuhiko has his foot on Coleman's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Coleman works his way back into a safe position though.
Coleman chips away with some ground and pound.
Coleman passes into half guard.

Tatsuhiko looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

Tatsuhiko kicks off Coleman and gets to his feet.
Coleman looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Tatsuhiko is fending him off so far but Coleman persists. Nope, Tatsuhiko circles away and we're back to standing.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Tatsuhiko lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Coleman has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Coleman and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Akihito Tatsuhiko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Coleman misses with a takedown attempt

and Tatsuhiko counters with a takedown into side control.

Tatsuhiko decides to stand up, so the ref orders Coleman to his feet.
Tatsuhiko throws a poor cross that misses

and Coleman counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tatsuhiko has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Coleman can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Tatsuhiko working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Coleman doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Coleman manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Coleman drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Coleman jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Coleman fails to pull guard.

Coleman goes for a takedown attempt but Tatsuhiko pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Tatsuhiko escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Coleman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Coleman's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Coleman is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Tatsuhiko is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Tatsuhiko has escaped and now he's on top!

Coleman is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Tatsuhiko won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Coleman off his unconscious opponent!
