Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hans Gruber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rio Denardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Denardo has chosen Bodies - Drowning pool as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gruber feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Gruber is working Denardo over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Gruber has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Gruber is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Denardo is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Denardo had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Gruber is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Denardo Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Gruber's back instead.
Denardo has the hooks in. Gruber is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Denardo is trying to stick to Gruber's back but Gruber is turning into Denardo. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Denardo's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Gruber.
Denardo is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Gruber is controlling him.

Gruber feints and as Denardo raises his hands in defense, Gruber changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Gruber drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Denardo dives on top into guard.
Denardo sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Gruber's guard.
Gruber is trying to control but Denardo passes into side control!

Gruber gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gruber is looking to work some ground and pound but Denardo has wrist control.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Denardo is on top in guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Gruber rushes Denardo and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Gruber is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Gruber has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Denardo is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Gruber turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Gruber manages to end up in side control.

Denardo moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Denardo manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Gruber can't escape the position.
Denardo is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Gruber has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Denardo throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Gruber has his hands clasped together but Denardo breaks the hold and Gruber is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Denardo!
