The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Samson on the side of the head.
Diaz throws a nice looking combination but Samson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Diaz lands a right hook to the body.
Samson looks for a takedown but Diaz sprawls well.
Samson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Diaz lands a big right hook! Samson looks hurt but is still standing! Diaz lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Samson falls down and Diaz dives in with a huge hammer fist! Samson's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Diaz runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
