Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Manny Pacquiao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Blast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Blast's choice of entrance music: Goldfinger - Superman. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Manny Pacquiao! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tim Blast! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pacquiao misses with an uppercut
and Blast counters with a lovely straight right hand! Pacquiao misses with a left hand and Blast counters with a stiff right hand. No luck for Blast with that takedown attempt. Pacquiao throws a poor cross that misses
enabling Blast to counter with a crisp jab. Pacquiao throws an off balance right hand
and Blast counters with a straight right hand. Pacquiao swings widly with a right hand
enabling Blast to counter with a crisp jab. Blast uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pacquiao.
A looping hook to the body misses from Pacquiao. Blast does a little dance to reset his feet. Pacquiao throws the left hand but Blast avoids the punch easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. A punch lands to the side of Pacquiao 's head but he takes it in his stride. Blast scores with a hook to the body. Pacquiao takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Blast connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Pacquiao rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Blast counters with a straight right hand. A jab from Pacquiao does it's job there. The crowd cheers as Pacquiao lands an impressive looking overhand right. Blast doesn't seem phased though. Pacquiao throws a lazy uppercut
and Blast counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Blast misses with a looping right.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Blast misses with a left hand enabling Pacquiao to counter with a crisp jab. Pacquiao throws a shot to the body.
Blast ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Pacquiao throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Blast cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Pacquiao misses with a right hand and Blast counters with a lovely straight right hand! Pacquiao stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pacquiao wants it to stay on the feet. Pacquiao misses the body punch and Blast makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Pacquiao throws a right hand that misses
and Blast counters with a single leg into guard. Pacquiao didn't expect that.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pacquiao has Blast pulled in close to control his posture. Blast loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Blast trying to control but Pacquiao is working from the bottom. Blast in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Blast throwing strikes from guard but Pacquiao blocks nicely. Blast stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pacquiao swivels though and keeps the full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pacquiao is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Pacquiao utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Blast sitting in guard here, content to control. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Blast accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Pacquiao controlling the position. Blast stands and throws Pacquiao's legs to the side, diving into side control. Blast sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Pacquiao is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

The strikes coming from Blast are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Blast looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Pacquiao is avoiding damage well.
Pacquiao wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Pacquiao parries the strikes from Blast easily there. Blast is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Pacquiao to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tim Blast dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Pacquiao misses with a left hand and Blast counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Pacquiao ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Blast moves away. Manny Pacquiao seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pacquiao throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Blast counters with a straight right hand. Tim Blast is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Blast with a lazy takedown attempt and Pacquiao counters with a lovely shot to the body. Blast misses with a hook. Pacquiao throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Blast counters with a nice body shot. Blast falls off balance throwing a combination
and Pacquiao counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pacquiao punishes Blast's body with a nice straight punch. Pacquiao throws a lazy uppercut
letting Blast counter with a right hand. Pacquiao throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Blast counters with a straight right hand. Pacquiao throws a hook to the side of Blast's head but Blast sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Blast takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. A punch combination from Blast misses. Pacquiao lands a nice hook to Blast's body. Blast takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Blast might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Pacquiao bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Blast misses with a hook. Pacquiao ducked under it nicely. Pacquiao throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Pacquiao misses with a left hand and Blast connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Pacquiao lands a nice looking body shot.
Blast lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pacquiao circles away quickly and effectively. Pacquiao misses with a hook
and Blast counters with a nice double leg into guard. Pacquiao looking to control.
Pacquiao wants to improve his position but instead Blast has moved into half guard.
Blast missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Blast not landing any meaningful shots this time. Blast not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Pacquiao wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Blast throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Blast looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Blast prevents Pacquiao from standing back up.
Blast throws a strike but Pacquiao avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Blast throwing strikes from guard but Pacquiao blocks nicely. Blast looking to sit in guard and control but Pacquiao gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Pacquiao wants to get up but he can't break Blast's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tim Blast showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

and Pacquiao connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Pacquiao misses with a double jab.
Blast uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Pacquiao. Blast is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Pacquiao. Blast jabs Pacquiao right on the nose. Pacquiao blinks but takes it well. Blast bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Manny Pacquiao is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Blast connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Manny Pacquiao has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Pacquiao looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Pacquiao avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Blast. Blast thows a huge punch but Pacquiao dodges it nicely.
Blast throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Nice strikes from Blast there. Pacquiao keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Blast missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Pacquiao is refusing to be controlled, as Blast sits in half guard. Pacquiao is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Blast scores with a couple of nice shots. Pacquiao is looking to improve his position.
Blast not landing any meaningful shots this time. Blast sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Pacquiao defending well though. Blast wants to pass to mount but Pacquiao is defending the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pacquiao tries to kick Blast off but Blast keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Pacquiao is pressing down on Blast's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Blast stands up over Pacquiao, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Blast scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Blast has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Blast throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Pacquiao works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Blast works over Pacquiao with some ground and pound from guard. Blast throwing strikes from guard but Pacquiao blocks nicely. Blast trying to control but Pacquiao is working from the bottom. Blast landing some decent shots from guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Tim Blast comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Blast has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
