The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nickerson closes the distance looking to clinch
and Narmonov counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A good leg kick by Narmonov.
Nickerson fails with the takedown

and Narmonov counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Nickerson!
Nickerson keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Narmonov working away from the top, dropping strikes.

Narmonov has hold of Nickerson's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Nickerson manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Nickerson is trying desperately to improve position.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Narmonov cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Nickerson takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Narmonov's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
