Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bret Tanner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dan Driver! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Driver shoots in and gets a takedown into Tanner's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tanner is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Driver is controlling him. Driver scoring with punches to the head and body. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tanner keeping full guard, as Driver tries to pass. Tanner avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Driver trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Tanner is looking to stand up but Driver isn't so interested in that idea. Driver throwing strikes from guard but Tanner blocks nicely. Driver must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Driver throws a strike but Tanner rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Tanner is thwarting Driver's attempts to control the position. Tanner looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Driver works his way to full guard. Good work. Tanner passes easily into side control. Nice work. Tanner creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Driver sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Driver is looking for a sweep. I wouldn't like to be where Driver is right now. Driver really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tanner. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Tanner advances to full mount. Driver is wriggling around trying to escape.

Tanner pushes Driver off looking to stand but Driver dives back in and keeps control.

Driver takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Driver is nestled in close to Tanner, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Tanner avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Driver.
And that's the end of the fight! Dan Driver comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Driver has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
