The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hoosto will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Fail swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hoosto counters with a right hand to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hoosto looks to land a combination but Fail avoids it well.

and Hoosto cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Hoosto swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Hoosto lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Fail falls off balance throwing a combination
and Hoosto counters with a straight right hand.
Fail throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Hoosto counters with a nice body shot.
A combination from Fail does no damage.
Fail pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Hoosto back to the ropes. Fail follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Fail falls off balance throwing a combination
and Hoosto counters with a three punch combo that has Fail backing up. Fail nods at Hoosto to acknowledge the strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fail connects with a good right hand that stumbles Hoosto. Hoosto circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Hoosto misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Fail.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Fail rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hoosto moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hoosto tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fail was well out of range. Poor timing from Hoosto.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fail loads up on a big right hand but Hoosto slips the punch.
Fail connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Fail swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hoosto counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Fail throws a combination that misses
and Hoosto counters with a left to the body.
Hoosto throws a hook to the side of Fail's head but Fail sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Hoosto fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fail manages to avoid it.
Fail misses with an uppercut
and Hoosto counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Fail dodges the punch combination from Hoosto.
Hoosto swinging wildly here.
Fail throws a left and a right that both miss
and Hoosto counters with a straight right hand.
Fail keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Fail might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
Fail takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Hoosto throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Fail.
Epik Fail seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

enabling Hoosto to counter with a crisp jab.

Hoosto drops Fail with a beautiful combination! Fail stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Hoosto is looking for the KO!

Ernesto Hoosto seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Fail showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hoosto.

Sloppy strikes from Hoosto. Those never looked like landing.
Fail walks into a stiff left hand from Hoosto.


Epik Fail's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Hoosto feints with a jab and clips Fail right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Fail is sent crashing into the canvas and Hoosto leaps in for the kill! Fail tries to get to his feet but Hoosto is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Fail is in need of a savior and steps in!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:01 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ernesto Hoosto!
