Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bj Cane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franz Weimar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Weimar comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Steve Vai - Bad Horsie kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Franz Weimar! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Daniel Cesar and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Weimar sizes up Cane with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Cane throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Weimar was covering up waiting for the punch and Cane finishes the takedown easily into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Cane drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Cane jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Weimar looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
